Dr. Paul Mitchell

Dr. Paul Mitchell is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and extension state specialist in cropping systems and environmental management with UW Extension. At the University of Wisconsin, he is also the Director of the Renk Agribusiness Institute, co-Director of the Nutrient and Pest Management program, and a faculty affiliate of the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies. His research, teaching and outreach focus broadly on the economics of crop production, emphasizing pest management, risk management, and agricultural sustainability. Paul heads up research strategy and statistical analysis for FieldRise assessment programs.
